SOLIDWORKS, Part Design 4, Thread Plate

HA! FINALLY A RECTANGULAR PART!

Hi there, I had promised a more Mechanical inclined Part and here you have it. It's a very simple piece but it involves features I have not covered yet. I just realized that I had the Units on my Document Properties set up to Millimeter (mm). I changed it to Inch for this Part. If you want to follow this tutorial using the same dimensions as it was built on, maybe it's a good idea to use Inch as your Unit system as well, in case you do not have it already set as a default. If you don't know or forgot how to do that, I wrote an instruction page (as part of my TIPS series) so that you can follow. Just CLICK HERE to refresh your genius mind. SOLIDWORKS, Part Design 3, Mug

IS COFFEE READY YET?

Alright, I just finished building a little mug. The process involves too many steps and it could result in too many details, It's actually fun to do that, as it challenges one's creativity and imagination. Hope that you will find the same fun as I do!

SOLIDWORKS, Part Design 2, Roller Bearing

I designed this bearing from mind. What I mean by that is that I did not have a part of that kind to serve as a model or any dimensions/specifications I could follow. All I used was a mental picture. Therefore, it may not be truly functional industrially speaking.

SOLIDWORKS, Part Design 1, Bowl

AN ANCIENT BUDHIST "SINGING BOWL"? MAYBE...
Here is a cute little exotic bowl I created using basically the Revolved Feature in SolidWorks.
