AN ANCIENT BUDHIST "SINGING BOWL"? MAYBE...
Here is a cute little exotic bowl I created using basically the Revolved Feature in SolidWorks.

Solidworks has either personal training or video training. I would imagine the video training is much cheaper. http://www.solidworks.com/sw/support/software-training-certification.htm. . Pro/E has the same options. http://www.frotime.com/. . Overall, I would not think you would have much trouble moving from one CAD software to the other. I would think companies would notice your extensive experience with CAD software and understand you could move from one to the other with little problems. All software are relatively the same. Solidworks and Inventor are the easiest to use in my opinion, and similar. I hate Pro/E so you might want to look into getting some training in that but I wouldn't say its imperative by any stretch.
